Muwavaje - Play

Muwavaje - Play. Written by Bhisham Sahni & Directed by Yasin Khan.

The play revolves around the rumor a of riot to happen in a village. When the news of the approaching riot reached the people, they get set to plan their own gains out of the riots. Property business and their agents get active as they assume that after the riots, the rates of property will go down.

Arms Dealers start selling the deadly arms to people of both communities and mint money and tenders are being given to the Contract Killers to kill people.

In midst of the havoc people of the slums plan to claim compensation from the government for every injury and loss of life that takes place in the course of the riots.

Ghalib in New Delhi - Play

Pierrot's Troupe presents Ghalib in New Delhi, a hilarious comedy in Hindi written and directed by Dr. M. Sayeed Alam & Niti Sayeed.

The play deals with Mirza Ghalib's re-birth in Delhi in the 21st century, his trials and tribulations right from the course of his stay at a servant quarter at Patpad Ganj with a Bihari young man (the land lady being a Punjaban) to becoming a Page-3 celebrity.
