Zimmermann's Metamorphoses brings Ovid's Greek tales to stunning
visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water on stage (no
make-believe water, this!), Metamorphoses juxtaposes the ancient and
contemporary in both language and image to tell a number of different
stories.
The
emphasis is on love and loss and the power they have of transforming
us. With a fine blend of the humorous and the tragic, and a wide
range of emotions, this promises to be a gripping and enjoyable show.
