Ozma - Performance : French Jazz Band
Ozma is a French Jazz Band deeply connected to the Imagination world. The young musicians 'borrowed' the name of their group from the 'Extra galactic life research program Ozma of the NASA'. And, in fact, their music is very much linked with Space. According to their fans, Ozmas music appears as 'ozmic', neologism for 'cosmic'.
Ozmas music is inspired from bands like the Dave Holland Quintet, Aka Moon, Ray Andersons Slickaphonics, and Steve Coleman and the Metrics. Thanks to their strong cohesion, on a human level (which is fairly rare for a jazz band) and on a musical level, ideas come about naturally in an abundance which makes up the originality of 'ozmical' music. In Ozmas particularly strange universe, the various landscapes, made up of a subtle balance between writing and improvisation, succeed one another with witty eloquence and humour.

Taj Festival 2009 at Agra
Taj Festival 2009 at Agra. Organised by U.P. Tourism Department.
Taj Mahotsav is a modern day Indian cultural festival celebrated in the vicinity of Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. This year, the Taj Mahotsav celebrations promise to be a more special and grand affair as the world voted Taj Mahal as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World on 07.07.07. This is celebrated in the month of February every year, with the advent of spring in India - the best season to visit Taj Mahal for foreign tourists.
Taj Mahotsav is a ten day long festival celebrated in Shilpa Gram very close to the monument of love or the Marble Marvel as people call the Taj. This festival is reminiscent of the old mughal era and nawabi style. It starts with a grand road procession with decorated elephants and camels, like the victory processions of Mughal Emperors and warlords. The procession also includes drum and trumpet players, folk dancers, skilled craftsmen and artisans. It's a festival of handicrafts, ethnic Indian folk dances fused with modern song and dance culture too. Internationally renowned performers will entertain the guests during the 10 day cultural festival at Taj Mahotsav.
Craft work on display will be mostly Marble engraving and inlay work, Chikkan work on clothes from Lucknow, leather goods from Agra, wood carvings from Saharanpur, metal work form Bhadoi, exquisite blue pottery work from Khurja.

Ismat Apa Ke Naam - Play
Cast: Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak shah & Heeba Shah. In association with TATA.
Ismat Apa Ke Naam is a series of three short stories by the famous Urdu writer Ismat Khanum Chughtai (1915-1991) Mughal Bacche, Chhui Muee and Gharwali narrated with lan and gusto by the trio Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak and Heeba Shah. The beauty of the entire experience lies not just in the manner in which the stories are narrated by the actors but the sheer luminosity, irony and poignancy of the stories themselves. Ismat Apa ke Naam is a celebration of a writer whose work is never dated, a reminder of the still unexplored dramatic possibilities of Indian fiction, and yet another chance to witness the work of an actor-director who keeps seeking ways to reinvent the magic of theatre.
